The Art Deco Ballroom, Park Lane

The 5 star Park Lane hotel, where The Magic Hour runs every Friday night, includes a lavish 1920s-30s Art Deco ballroom. It is definitely the jewel in the crown of this unique luxury hotel. The entrance way to this space, on the ground level, is also dramatic piece of Art Deco work also. Silvered wallpaper, orginal paintings, and those unmistakeable Deco motifs. Over the year they host a variety of London dinners, award ceremonies, and it is also frequently used as a filming location. Even after all these years, it looks stunning, so it must have had a real impact when the hotel first opened in 1927.
